I’m pretty disappointed with the way Private Practice portrayed this weird combination of psychosis and anxiety/depression. And if they were trying to help anyone, then leaving off the PSA is doubly disappointing.

I wonder if they did leave it off because they knew their portrayal was (ridiculous) fiction, and if they HAD included the PSA it could have made it look like they had collaborated with experts on the story line? –as if the accuracy had been verified by experts. And you know if we survivors had, the story wouldn’t have been anything like that. …like, they left it off because they didn’t want to appear to be saying that experts gave the story a thumbs up. Know what I mean?

It might take an actress who has been through the “PPD” journey to bring accuracy to a story line. People outside the experience just really don’t seem to get it.

“Hello, Brooke?” “Gwyneth?” …
